Computer Stress
Computer Stress
Computers are an essential part of many people’s work life. Naturally we can be affected by what is known as computer stress – aches and pains, eyestrain, stress and electromagnetic radiation. Here are some tips for counteracting the negative effects of working all day with computers:
- Get comfortable. Make sure your chair, table and workstation are all working with, not against your body.
- Get some plants and crystals. Plants and crystals are wonderful for getting rid of toxins
- Take regular breaks – go outside if you can for fresh air
- Do some breathing exercises – check our Health Tips section for an easy exercise
- Remember to blink often and look away from the screen regularly to avoid eye strain
- Stretch your arms and legs at least 3-4 times per day, hold for 30 seconds each
- If your work place has massage facilities, treat yourself to a shoulder & neck massage.
