What is Corporate Massage?
Corporate Massage is the most time and cost-effective wellbeing program available – not to mention very enjoyable and healthy! 15 minute massage twice a month costs much less per employee than most other health programs. Your employees are your most valuable asset! Workplace stress can lead to lower productivity, absenteeism, and job-related injury. With the realisation that happy, healthy employees contribute more to a company’s effectiveness, businesses are investing in on-site massage as part of their work life balance program.
Massage is proven to alleviate back, neck and shoulder pain incurred by continuous computer usage and lengthy sitting periods.
Massage can be used two ways at the workplace;
1. Regular Massage: The number one method of use of Corporate Massage is the integration of regular massage into your wellness program. Many companies elect to have a Massage Therapist on-site once a week or more. Some companies, especially small businesses, elect to have a Massage Therapist visit them every other week or once a month. Many companies make massage available to all employees, others use massage as a part of their employee incentives program.
At 21st Zentury Health there are two categories of corporate massage:
Table Massage & Chair Massage.
How often to have Massage Therapists visit is usually based on the number of people the company employs, 21st Zentury Health can help you determine the right number of visits!
2. Special Occasion: Some companies elect to use massage as a special treat at wellness fairs, employee appreciation days, or company parties and picnics.
Many companies find massage to be so popular with their employees that they use a combination of both regular massage visits and special occasion massage.
The Program Runs Itself!
Assign a contact person to help 21st Zentury Health set up a scheduling routine and publicise the program. After that, the only thing required at each visit is a quiet space such as a conference or wellness room.
Who Pays for the Massage?
As a business you have options. You may book and pay for your employees’ appreciation in full, split the cost with each employee as an incentive, or simply provide the space where staff can book and pay for their own massage appointments throughout the day.

Chair Massage
On-Site Chair Massage “Chair Massage” describes the type of massage that is performed while the client sits fully clothed in a special chair on-site and requires no oil.
This unique massage chair is ergonomically designed and offers full support of the head (face forward), arms, torso and legs. Chair Massage is performed by certified and insured practitioners who use a combination of deep tissue and Swedish Massage techniques, usually on the muscle groups in the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands.
20-minute Chair Massage begins with your therapist going through your Health Screening Form with you. This is necessary the first time to ensure that you are able to have the Chair Massage. Save time by filling out the form before you arrive for your appointment. There are very few conditions that are aggravated by Chair Massage but sometimes it is better not to have a massage i.e., fever or flu.
