Colm O’Toole

I have been surrounded by sports and fitness for as long as I can remember.

My studies into fitness, exercise and health began in 2003 when I began a four year degree course in Sport Science and Health in Dublin City University, which I graduated from in the class of 2007. After taking a break to teach P.E for a year in John Scottus Junior School, I returned to academic life in 2008 and undertook my master’s degree (MSc.) in Exercise Rehabilitation in Bangor University. This was completed in 2009 and I graduated in 2010.

In 2009 I returned to Ireland and founded my own company, Injury Management Ireland where I created and supervised Injury rehabilitation programmes for mostly GAA and soccer players. In 2010, I was employed by North Kildare Rugby Club as a match day physio for one of their senior teams, a role I have retained for the upcoming season.

Since 2003 I have been involved in implementing adult and underage training programmes for teams and individuals, particularly in the off and pre-season. These have been both successful and popular and have gone a long way to determining my attitude and vision of personal training.

I have been on both sides of the training experience and I train people and teams as I would like to be trained. Its fun, its always different and its never easy. Its also a teaching exercise so

Although I may have a laid back approach to training (and life), each and every session is based on the latest scientific research and has been prepared for you and nobody else.

And remember: PREDICTABLE IS BORING. Don’t forget that when you think you know what’s in store for you during a session!!
